FINALLY! Posting my first pattern!

Here it is, the Prima Ballerina Shrug and Legwarmer Set. The shrug was not my design, I found the pattern on Ravelry. Here's the link to her blog: http://flyinghooks.blogspot.com/2007/05/fo-girls-simple-openwork-shrug.html The only thing I did was add the trim around the arms and back/neck opening. The legwarmer pattern is all my own! I hope you like it, and please remember this is my first time writting out a pattern, so if there is a problem with it or it's confusing please let me know and I will be happy to fix it or help! This pattern has not been tested! Thanks and enjoy!

PRIMA BALLERINA SET

SHRUG

I used and H hook and WW yarn...for this set I used Red Heart Love.   The trim around the edges is what I added to her already beautiful design!  Here is the shrug pattern in case the link doesn’t work.

Project details:
Hook: Brittany 4.5mm hook
Yarn: Classic Elite Flash 'Pink Tweed'
Size: This fits my 5 yo who wears mostly sizes 5-6. It was 22 inches x 10 inches before sewing.
Pattern: My own - designed to match stitch pattern of NY Yarns Caprice Sundress.
Ch 90 , must be a multiple of 4 + 6.
Row 1: Dc in 4th chain from hook, (dc in next ch) twice, *ch 1, skip one ch, (dc in next ch) 3 times, repeat from * across.
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), *3 dc in ch-1 space, ch 1, repeat from * across, dc in top of turning ch.
Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in ch-1 space, ch 1, *3 dc in ch-1 space, ch 1, repeat from * across, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch.
Repeat rows 2-3, ending with row 2, for a total of 20 rows, or as wide as you need shrug to be.
Fold in half, bringing the top of final row to the foundation chain.
Holding right sides together, sew 20 stitches in from each end to form sleeves. Weave in ends.

***For the trim, I turned the sweater inside out and I joined CC in a corner of the shrug with a ss.  Ch1, sc in the same stitch and in each chain around.   Join to first sc with a ss, finish off weave in ends.***
***Row 1: Keeping the shrug inside out, I joined CC yarn in first sc from last round, ch1, sc in same stitch and in each stitch around for 27 sc.  Join to first sc with a ss.
Row 2:   loop stitch in same stitch as joining and each stitch around for 27 loops.  Join with a ss to first loop stitch.  Repeat row 2 one or 2 more times as desired.  Finish off, weave in ends.***
